Back Home

A short, but exhaustive and stressful hospital stay is over and we're settling back in to our home. Thanks for everyone that called and visited and sent prayers. As always your love and support keep us going, even at great distance.

Some recent pictures.

Spring already?

Ha! More like when is winter going to final just go away? Hints of Spring have come to New England, but not without more assertion from Old Man Winter who refuses to let go of what in popular opinion around these parts just west of Boston was the longest, hardest winter in recent memory. Spring still doesn't feel quite here yet. But hope is alive. The days grow longer. The trees greener. The sky bluer. And the sun, without whom none of this would even be possible, draws nearer, bringing warm life back to hearts, minds and bodies.

So what of Mia. It has been a challenging winter for her and for us. At the moment Spring isn't being so kind either. She has pneumonia for the first time in her life. She was admitted to the hospital this morning because her care became too much for the home team. The capable and loving staff of Children's Hospital have joined the adventure and so far so good. She seems to be headed in the right direction recovery wise at the moment, but it has been an intense day to say the least, on more levels than one on the outside could possibly imagine.

So please if you read this say a prayer, send some love, and/or just think a positive thought if nothing else. A positive thought about anything that makes you smile and feel good inside will do just fine, we're not picky.

Love,
Noah, Francesca, and Mia Bella
