21 Months and some Halloween!

Mia was very funny on Halloween. She slept right through most of it, even in her beautiful angel costume. We finally woke her up to head across the street to our neighbor Diane's house for some Halloween festivities and she was none too happy about it. There's nothing like dealing with an angry angel on Halloween!


Still sleeping. I guess angels need their rest too.


We'll wake her up with kisses!

Back home and calmed down, our little angel and Mommy.


Amazing how fast the time is going and Mia now another month old. Getting close to the 2 year mark!! She's been doing so great, and I think a lot of it has to do with her palate repair. She seems to have adjusted to her new anatomy and has started drinker from a bottle again, each time attacking it with a little more gusto. We had to ween her off of the bottle before the surgery and once she was able to have it again, she wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Francesca always diligent, worked with Mia to help her get back into the groove and she's getting back to where she was and beyond.
Below is Mia's birthday message to all her fans. It's just a snippet since the camera ran out of space, but you can see that Mia is getting more and more talkative. Truly incredible to see! We love you all!! See you soon!
