Moving Day

Mia moved out of the NICU at last and into a regular room and Children's Hospital. She has a nice bed spot near a window.

Nurse Sara getting Mia hooked up to her mobile monitor.

Mia all tucked in with all her stuff and ready for her elevator ride up to her new room.

Settled in with Mom.

Very comfortable in her new room.

Our litle beauty looks perfectly contented!! So glad she has a window so she can see the daylight and maybe even a few birds fly by.I miss you all so much-just was out and felt like coming right up to Boston, instead of coming back to work. All my love! MommaDonna xoxox

Dear Francesca & Noah, I am sorry that I wasn't aware of all that you were going through. Theresa filled me in this evening and hooked me up with your blogspot. Please know that you will both be in my Masses and prayers with a very special place in my Masses and prayers for Mia. Love, Father James

Hi Noah,

I haven't seen you since high school and had not heard about your daughter and what you were going through until I read it in the EH Star.

I immediately had to learn more about what your family was going through and found myself on your blog.

I won't be able to make it to the Talkhouse but my donation is on it's way.

I wish you and your family much love and support and know from experience that this will only make you better parents and a stronger family.

All my love,
Melissa King (Meyer)

Dear Noah and Francesca,

My mother emailed me a link to your touching blog about your tough little Mia. She is absolutely beautiful, and what a fighter! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. You are in a very special hospital and I am sure they are giving Mia the best care. Gerry Berry used to work at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (which is where I work) and he has the reputation of being the best in his field. I do have a very close friend who works in the genetics and metabolism department at CHOP, so please don't hesitate to get in touch with me if I can be of any help to you all.

All the best,
Erin McGintee-Conlon
