Boston Day 2
Mia is settled in now as are mom and dad for the most part. We met with the geneticists again today and a neurologist came by Mia's bedside to take a look at her. No news or results to report yet. They're all just going through her files from Stony Brook and deciding what tests they want to do of their own.
The night nurse last night said Mia wasn't taking all of her feeding which sometimes happens with her at night. She feeds much better during the day. The nurse put an NG tube into Mia's nose through which she can give Mia the rest of her feeding if she doesn't finish the bottle on her own. They just want to make sure she gets an adequate amount of calories.
For now, Mia rests and gets fed as the doctors here come up with their plan.

Little Mia is sooooo sweet. In each picture I see so much of mom and dad. Mia is the luckiest little girl to have chosen two amazing people to be her parents. I miss you all dearly. My heart is filled with love and prayers for you.
Lots of Hugs and Kisses,
